Trailing 13 to 8 in the bottom of the 4th, Kilkenny House tied the game with 5 runs, topped off with a grand slam HR by Don Montefusco.  DeBellis surged back into the lead with 3 runs in the top of the 5th only to have Kilkenny score 6 in the bottom of the inning and hold on for the win.  Kilkenny was led by Ed Klecan (4 for 4), Jim Buckalew (3 for 4), Al Feigenbaum (3 for 4), Dom Montefusco (3 for 4, HR) and Tom Beninato (3 for 3).  The DeBellis boys managed 21 hits against the league leading Kilkenny team but it wasn't enough to overcome the hard hitting barmen.  For DeBellis, Johnny Miller had a 3 for 4 night (2B, 3R).  Howard Walker, Jorge Barca, Bob Mancini, Rich Silva, Dennis Wilckens and Rich Grossberg each had two hits.

Jackson, Jeff Maglietta, Don Miller, Harry Semple and Al Betau used the extra base and clutch hitting to help secure the victory.  Danny Mendoza was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs, and Gary Cuttler (2R) and Bobby Rahnenfuhrer (2R, 2RBI) each had 3 hits for AG2.
