American Legion 14, The Avengers 9
Roselle American Legion defeated the Avengers 14-9 at Tremely Point Field in Linden 14-9 and finished in first place in the UCSSL 60's B Division.  Bill Daniel took the mound for The Legion and also contributed three hits at the plate.  George Verek had two hits including a home run.  Johnny Amato and Ed Kuschner had 3 hits each.  For the Avengers Doc Henley Black, Rich Krov and John Tomaine had a pair of hits each.
Awnings Galore II 12, The Decorating Store 7
Awnings Galore II defeated The Decorating Store 12-9 is a close battle at Linden Memorial Field.  The D-Store jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but Awnings  kept it close throughout the game and jumped ahead with back to back 3-run innings in the fourth and fifth sealed the victory.  Leading the D-Store at the plate were Gerard McDermott (3 hits, run); Tom McNulty (3 hits, 2 RBI).
Creative Industries I 16, DeBellis Assocates 14
First place Creative Industries I completed a near perfect regular season with a come from behind victory over Debellis Associates at Linden 8th Ward Field.   After falling behind 12-3, Creative played long ball to capture the victory.  Geoff Poulston (2H, 2HR, 3R, 3RBI's), Tom Straniero (3H, HR, 3R, 3RBI's) and Brian Williams (2H, HR, 3R, 2RBI's) all went yard in the comeback.  Also contributing to the offensive were Dennis Watson and Steve Ferro with 3 hits each. Tom Lombardi was again the winning pitcher for Creative.
Kilkenny House 21, Creative Industries Too, 6
Led by Ron Kulik, going 4 for 4 including 2 home runs, Don Montefusco with 3 hits and a homer, and Al Feigenbaum’s round tripper, Kilkenny cruised to the victory.
